To find LUCY’S RUN when approaching from Sydney : Proceed north along the F3 then follow all signs to Cessnock. Turn right at the traffic lights into Vincent’s St ( the main road through the town) from Aberdare Rd.
Continue to the northerly end of Vincent’s St then turn left at the traffic lights but be prepared to turn right at the very next set of traffic lights into Allandale Rd. By the magic of Cessnock Council this road turns into Wine Country Drive just out of Cessnock.
(There is a public swimming pool on the corner and Allandale Rd goes right past McDonald’s.) Continue on this road for 12klms. On the way you will drive past the Tourist Information on the left which is located at the airport, then past Broke Rd on the left. The next street is Palmers Lane on the left, followed by Wilderness Rd on the right. This is followed by McDonald Road on the left. 100 metres past McDonald Rd there is a concrete road bridge over Black Creek.
LUCY’S RUN is the bright blue fence on the right about 100 metres past this bridge. The entrance to the drive is directly opposite the second road sign indicating a turn in the road ahead.
